ABOUT DEIRA ISLAND

Deira Islands is one of the most anticipated upcoming projects in Dubai. It is a mixed-use waterfront development consisting of four man-made islands off the coast of Dubai. As the name suggests, the island is situated adjacent to the Deira district. Formerly known as Palm Deira, it was planned as a part of the Palm Islands.

In 2004, the leading property developer Nakheel launched Palm Deira. Later, in October 2013, the developer rebranded the project as Deira Islands and the masterplan included the construction of a range of world-class leisure facilities and resorts. Key highlights included Deira Night Souk, Deira Island Towers, Deira Mall and The Central Boulevard. A bridge linking the island to the mainlands was opened in December 2016. Hence, Deira Islands offer unique investment opportunities as freehold residential and hotel plots.
